Hey guys!

E-Man
I am currently a Nationally Certified EMT-Basic.

Thank you, Thank you.

I'm really excited. I just need to get a job now. But as a basic there's really not much to do. Besides the Texas Department of Health is behind on getting Texas Licenses approved. From what I've heard they're not even done with December. I need to hurry up and get mine unless I want it in like summer. anyway.
So far the Intermediate level has been pretty cool. Only because it's the Intermediate Level.
I've been trying to write about the types of calls I had last semester. So I'll try and get that to you.
I don't want to keep all this stuff bottled up inside.

Hope all is well.

Be Safe Everyone!

Hello Everybody

E-Man
What's been going on?

First time in a very long time since I have even logged on into livejournal.
So much has happened since the year began.
I turned 22. Chuck'E'Cheese was too packed for me to have my birthday party, so now I'll go throughout life not knowing the Chuck'E'Cheese experience.

Last Spring Semester, I still had so many problems with school. But I was eventually getting out of the hole I dug myself 4 years prior.
I lost one of me best friends. Not to death, but to a psychotic bitch. It probably would've been better had he died. As dick as that sounds. At least he would've stayed my best friend.
Started hanging out with his friends, I became "That" guy who buys alcohol. Sucks a lot. But we've become kind of close. So it's alright.
Been partying it up like crazy since March. Summer '09 was unforgettable.
I went to the Carribean Islands, in June, with one of my best friends and his friends. We replaced the asians on the trip so they were there in "spirit"(race).

"JULY MADNESS" was bad ass! A party every weekend at a different location. The first weekend was amazing, got fucked up. The second weekend continued, a bit toned down but still great none the less. The third weekend, spiked back up to awesome. The last weekend, very chill and a nice way to end it since I was burnt out.
I ended up saving another of my best friends from drowning at South Padre Island.

And throughout June, July, and August I thought about becoming a Paramedic and this semester I have been pursuing that. It's been very awesome. I like it a lot. It seems to suit me. So by the end of this month I should be certified as an EMT-Basic. Next it's to go through Advanced-EMT, or intermediate. Then Paramedic.
I've already been looking into specializing as a Tactical Medic, Flight Medic, Rescue Medic, and HAZMAT medic. Not necessarily in that order, but I will continue to get certifcations under my belt.
And, I'll be talking about the things I see as I ride along with the ambulance, or hospital. I have one story that is pretty crazy, but that's for later.

Who ever still uses Livejournal, I hope everything has been going well for you.

Aight, leave a message so I can see how this thing works.

...for the LORD will be your confidence and will keep your foot from being snared.
Proverbs 3:26

I recognize that I am not responsible for the happiness of everybody around me.
Today I will be aware that I am responsible for keeping myself happy.
I will be kind to everyone around me, but I refuse to be manipulated.
I will not take on a false sense of responsibility for the actions or attitudes of others.

Resurrected bodies in more detail

  • Dec. 19th, 2008 at 2:16 PM
E-Man

1 Corinthians 15:46 - 58.......46 - The spiritual did not come first, but the physical and then the spritual.
47 - The first man came from the dust of the earth. The second man came
                                                           from heaven.
48 - People who belong to the earth are like the first man of earth. But those
people who belong to heaven are like the man of heaven.
49 - Just as we were made like the man of earth, so we will also be made like the man
                                                           of heaven.
50 - I tell you this, brothers and sisters: Flesh and blood cannot have a part in the
kingdom of God. Something that will ruin cannot have part in something that
                                                           never ruins.
51 - But look! I tell you this secret: We will not all sleep in death, but we will all be
                                                           changed.
52 - It will take only a second - as quickly as an eye blinks - when the last trumpet
sounds. The trumpet will sound, and those who have died will be raised to live
forever, and we will all be changed.
53 - This body that can be destroyed must clothe itself with something that can
never be destroyed. And this body that dies must clothe itself with something
                                                           that can never die.
54 - So when the body that can be destroyed clothes itself with that which can never
be destroyed, and this body that dies clothes itself with that which cannot die
this Scripture will be made true:
"Death is destroyed forever in Victory"     Isaiah 25:8
55 - "Death, where is your victory?
Death, where is your pain?"     Hosea 13:14
56 - Death's power to hurt is sin, and the power of sin is the law.
57 - But we thank God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
58 - So my dear brothers and sisters, stand strong. Do not let anything move you.
Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that
your work in the Lord is never wasted.

50 - 53: We all face limitations.
Those  who have physical, mental, or emotional disabilites are especially aware of this. Some may be
blind, but they can see a new way to live.
Some may be deaf, but they can hear God's Good News.
Some may be lame, but they can walk in God's love.
In addition they have the encouragement that those disabilities are only temporary.
Paul tells us that we all will be given new bodies when Christ returns and that these bodies will be
without disabilites, never to die or become sick.
This can give us hope in our suffering.

51 - 52: "We will not all sleep" means that Christians alive at that will not have to die but will be transformed
               immediately.
A trumpet blast will usher in the new heaven and earth.

54 - 56: Satan seemed to be victorious in the Garden of Eden and at the cross of Jesus.
But God turned Satan's apparent victory into defeat when Jesus Christ rose from the dead.
Thus death is no longer a source of dread or fear. Christ overcame it, and one day we will also.
The law will no longer make sinners out of us who cannot keep it.
Death has been defeated, and we have hope beyond the grave.

58: Paul says that because of the resurrection, nothing we do is in vain.
Sometimes we hesitate to do good because we don't see any results.
But if we can maintain a heavenly perspective, we will understand that we often will not see the good that results
               from our efforts.
If we truly believe that Christ has won the ulimate victory, that fact must affect the way we live right now.
Don't let discouragement over an apparent lack of results keep you from working.
Do the good that you have the opportunity to do, knowing that your work will have eternal results.

Phillipians 3:21 - The Lord Jesus Christ will transform the body of our humble state into conformity with the body of His
glory, by the exertion of the power that He has even to subject all things to Himself. (NASB)

21: The phrase "thoe body of our humble state" does not imply any negative attitude toward the human body.
However, the bodies we will receive when we are raised from the dead will be glorious, like Christ's resurrected
               body.
Those who struggle with pain, physical limitations, or disabilities can have a wonderful hope in the resurrection.

Revelation 21:4 - and He will wipe every tear from their eyes; and there will no longer be any death; there will no longer
be any mourning, or crying, or pain; the first things have passed. (NASB)

4: Have you ever wondered what eternity will be like?
"the holy city, the new Jerusalem" is described as the place where God will "wipe away every tear from their eyes."
Forevermore, there wil be no death  mourning, crying, or pain.
               What a wonderful truth!
No matter what you are going through, it's not the last word - God has written the final chapter, and it's about
true fulfillment and eternal joy for those who love him.
We do not know as much as we would like, but it is enough to know that eternity with God will be more wonderful
               than we could ever imagine.

1 corinthians 15:35 - But someone will say, "How are the dead raised? And what kind of body do they come?" (NASB)

35: Paul launches into a discussion about what are resurrected bodies will be like.
If you could select your own body, what kind would you choose - strong, athletic, beautiful?
Paul explains that we will be recognized  in our resurrected bodies, yet they will be better than we can imagine,
for they will be made to live forever.
We will still have our own personalities and individualities, but these will be perfected through Christ's work.
The Bible does not reveal everything that our resurrected bodies will be able to do, but we know they will be
              perfect, without sickness or disease.
Paul compares the resurrection of our bodies with the growth in a garden.
Seeds placed in the ground don't grow unless they "die" first.
The plant that grows looks very different fromt he seed because God gives it a new "body."
There are different kinds of bodies - people, animals, fish, birds.
Even the angels in heaven have bodies that are different in beauty and glory.
Our resurrected bodies will be very different in some ways, but not all, from our earthly bodies.

2 corinthians 5:1 - 10.......1 - For we know that if the earthly tent which is our house is torn down, we have a building
from God, a house not made wth hands, eternal in the heavens.
2 - For indeed in this housewe groan, longing to be clothed with our dwelling from
                                                    heaven,
3 - inasmuch as we, having put it on, will not be found naked.
4 - For indeed while we are in this tent, we groan, being burdened, because we do not
want to be unclothed but to be clothed, so that what is mortal will be swallowed up
                                                    by life.
5 - Now He who prepared us for this very purpose is God, who gave to us the Spirit as a
                                                   pledge.
6 - Therefore, being always of good courage, and knowing that while we are at home in
the body we are absent from the Lord -
7 - for we walk by faith, not by sight -
8 - we are of good courage, I say, and prefer rather to be absent from the body and to be
                                                    at home with the Lord
9 - Therefore we also have as our ambition, whether at home or absent, to be pleasing to
                                                    Him.
10 - For we must all appear before the judgement  seat of Christ, so that each one may be
recompensed for his deeds in the body, according to what he has doen, whether good
                                                    or bad. (NASB)

1 - 10: Paul contrasts our earthly bodies ("earthly tent") and our future resurrection bodies ("a building from God, a house not
made by human hands, eternal in the heavens").
Paul clearly states that our present bodies make us groan, but when we die we will not be spirits without bodies
            ("be found naked").
We will have new bodies that will be perfect for everlasting life.
We will still have personalities and recognizable characteristics in our resurrected bodies, but through Christ's work
our bodies will be better than we can imagine.
The bible does not tell us everything about our resurrected bodies, but we know they will be perfect without
           disease, or pain.

Heaven Can't Wait by Greg Laurie

  • Dec. 19th, 2008 at 12:43 PM
E-Man

This life is filled with things to worry about, and we could easily spend every waking hour of our day worrying. Some of us do just that. But if we're followers of Jesus, we know there's far more to life than the struggles that confront us every day. We know there's life to come that will be worry-free. When Jesus told his disciples to trust him, he was reminding them to look at the big picture. Jesus said, "In my Father's house are many rooms ..." (John 14:2). One of the assurances Jesus gave his friends was the real hope of heaven. He was telling them that no matter what happened to them on earth, it would pale in comparison with the life to come.

The words of the apostle Paul also remind us of this truth: "For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal" (2 Corinthians 4:17-18).

Longing for home Deep inside, we all long for this unseen place we've never been. In his book, "The Problem of Pain," C. S. Lewis calls this deep longing "the secret signature of each soul, the incommunicable and unappeasable want." We all have a longing for heaven, whether we know it or not. And heaven is waiting for the child of God. We have God's promise. Jesus has gone to prepare a place for us there (John 14:3), and that's a key element in our comfort here on earth.

When you're expecting guests in your home, you prepare the place ahead of time. You might know they like certain books or treats, so you customize the room. That way, when your guests arrive, they'll feel right at home. If we put that kind of effort into preparing a place for our friends, imagine the care God puts into preparing our eternal home! Our dwelling place When Jesus spoke of the place he has prepared for us, I don't think he was talking about bunk beds or cozy cabins. I believe He was referring to the new bodies we'll have when we go to heaven. Paul talks about this in 2 Corinthians 5:1-3: Now we know that if the earthly tent we live in is destroyed, we have a building from God, an eternal house in heaven, not built by human hands.  Meanwhile we groan, longing to be clothed with our heavenly dwelling, because when we are clothed, we will not be found naked.

The Bible doesn't tell us a lot about heaven, probably because it's so far beyond our comprehension. It would be like taking a 3-month-old baby, propping him up with pillows and saying to him, "Now I am going to tell you about Hawaii. Are you ready?" You get out a big book with gorgeous photos of the Hawaiian Islands. "Look. This is the island of Maui. See how nice it is?" The baby is just going to sit there, because he doesn't have the capacity to comprehend the information you're conveying. In the same way, when God speaks of the glories of heaven, there's no way we can fully grasp what lies ahead. Even the apostle Paul, who personally caught a glimpse of heaven said, "And I know that this man - whether in the body or apart from the body I do not know, but God knows - was caught up to paradise. He heard inexpressible things, things that man is not permitted to tell" (2 Corinthians 12:3-4).

Heavenly hearts Jesus is preparing wonderful homes for each of us, and I find that to be a great comfort, especially in these troubling days. Some may call that "pie in the sky" escapism, but I believe the reality of our future heavenly home helps get us through the trials of this life. And the fact of the matter is when we truly are heavenly minded, we are the greatest earthly good. Those who've done the most for this world have usually had their hearts on the next one. Any honest look at history will reveal that those who have done the most for others are Christians who know the hope of eternal life. They're the ones who have started universities, built shelters and hospitals, and have gone into the war-torn and famine-ridden areas of the world with food, medicine and clothing.

Think of men like William Wilberforce, a British politician who had an encounter with Jesus Christ. At first he thought he might be called to go into ministry, but he soon realized he could use his position in British politics to overturn a great evil - slavery. He dedicated much of his life to this cause and ultimately succeeded. His story is told in the powerful film "Amazing Grace." I've heard of a lot of church-affiliated hospitals, but personally, I've never heard of an atheist hospital. ... When we have the comfort of heaven, we put our worries aside and lay down our lives for the welfare of others. We're no longer bound by fear and anxiety, but freed by the promise of new life with God. When our hearts are lightened by this promise, there is no end to the good we can do.

NOTES - by my Bible (NASB)
John 14:2-3 - "There are many rooms in my Father's House; I would not tell you thisif it were not true. I am going there to prepare a place for
you. After I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be wth me so that you may be where I am."(NCV)

With what Jesus says here we can look forward to eternal life because Jesus has promised it to tall who believe in
him. Although the details of eternity are unknown, we need not fear because Jesus is preparing for us and will be
                                         with us.

2 Corinthians 4:17-18 - "We have small troubles for a while now, but they are helping us gain an eternal glory that is much greater than the
troubles. We set our eyes not on what we see but on what we cannot see. What we see will last only a short time, what we
                          cannot see will last forever."(NCV)

Our troubles should not diminish our faith  or disillusion us. We should realize that there is a purpose in our
suffering. Problems and human limitations have several benefits:
                                         1) They remind us of Christ's suffering for us.
                                         2) They Keep us from pride.
                                         3) They cause us to look beyond this brief life.
                                         4) They prove our faith to others.
                                         5) They give God the opportunity to demonstrate his power.
                                                                 See your troubles as opportunities!!

Our ultimate hope when we are experiencing terrible illness, persecution, or pain is the realization that this life is not
all there is - there is life after death! Knowing that we will live forever with God in a place without sin and suffering can
help us live above the pain we face in this life.

2 Corinthians 5:1-3 - "For we know that if the earthly tent which is our house is torn down, we have a building from God, a house not made
with hands, eternal is the heavens. For indeed in this house we groan, longing to be clothed with our dwelling from heaven,
inasmuch as we, having out it on, will not be found naked."(NASB)

Paul contrasts our earthly bodies ("earthly tent") and our future resurrection bodies ("a building from God, a house
not made with hands, eternal in the heavens"). Paul clearly states that our present bodies make us groan, but when
we die we will not be spirits without bodies ("be found naked"). We will have new bodies that will be perfect for our
                                           everlasting life.

2 Corinthians 12:3-4 - "And I know that this man was taken up to paradise. I don't know if he was in body or away from his body, but God
knows. He heard things he is not able to explain, things that no human is allowed to tell." (NCV)

Paul is "boasting" by telling of his visions and revelations he received from the Lord. "I know a man in Christ" means
that he is talking about himself. He didn't know if we was taken up in his body or in his spirit, but he was in paradise.
This incident cannot be positively identified with a recorded event in Paul's career, although some thing this may
have been when he was stoned and left for dead. Paul told about this incident to show that he has uniquely been
                                          touched by God.

Stand in the Gap

  • Oct. 13th, 2008 at 4:01 PM
E-Man
It's something my Men's Ministry Pastor, Barney,  says all the time.

"stand in the gap"

He ends all of his e-mails with that phrase.

"stand in the gap"

everytime I read it in passage Ezekiel 22:30 I take it kind of literally, to stand in the gap, I try to read it further and interpret it but I can't really do that too well. That's why I got a Life Application Study Bible, and it's version is the New American Standard Bible. It's Amazing, it helps put a lot of things in context for me. I love my bible.

Anyway, here's what Zeke 22:30 says.

"I searched for a man among them who would build up the wall and stand in the gap before ME for the land, so that I would not destroy it; but I found no one."

Here's what my bible notes say about this sentence.

The wall spoken of here is not made of stones, but of faithful people united in their efforts to resist evil. This wall was in disrepair because there was no one who could lead the people back to God. The feeble attempts to repair he gap - though religious rituals or messages based on opinion rather than God's will - were as worthless as whitewash, only covering over the real problems. What the people really needed was totaly spiritual reconstruction! When we give the appearance of loving God without living his way, we are covering up sins that eventually damage us beyond repair. Don't use religion as whitewash; repair your life by applying the principle of God's Word. Then you can join with others to stand "in the gap" and make a difference for God in the world.

This passage goes well with 1 Corinthians 16:13, it says...

"13 - Be on alert, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong.
14 - Let all that you do be done in love."
this is NASB.

But I bought this Shield with this passage on it, for my visor in my car, and I don't know what version it is but I like it better, it says

"Stand Firm
In The Faith
Be Men Of Courage
Be Strong"

These are the notes for 1 Cor. 16:13-14
As the Corinthians awaited Paul's next visit, they were directed to (1) be on alert against spiritual dangers, (2) stand firm in the faith, (3) behave courageously, (4) be strong, and (5) do everything with love. Today, as we wait for the return of Christ, we should follow the same directions.

The King Has Another Move

  • Oct. 13th, 2008 at 9:08 AM
E-Man
Have you heard this story? It's been told by Christian speakers as far back as 1955 when Billy Graham told a variation of it early in his ministry. Two men are standing in front of a painting called Checkmate in an art gallery. In the painting, a man is playing chess with the devil. The devil is grinning ear-to-ear because he has the man cornered. The title of the painting, Checkmate, indicates that the game is over. The devil has won. His opponent has no more moves.

The first man looking at the painting wants to move on to other paintings in the gallery. But the second man, an international chess champion, wants to look at the painting longer, so he waves his friend on and tells him he will catch up later. The chess champion stares and stares at the chess board, then suddenly he steps back, flabbergasted. "It's wrong!" he exclaims. "There's one more move." He runs to his friend and together they look at the painting. "We have to contact the painter," the chess champion says. "It's not checkmate. The king has one more move."
*
When you look at Scripture, you will see that all through history, the devil has had God's people in what seemed like "checkmate." But God had another move.

In Exodus 14, with the Egyptians relentlessly chasing them, the Israelites, finally released to journey to the Promised Land, came to the shores of the Red Sea. They could see the dust from approaching Egyptian chariots on the horizon and hear the war cries of their pursuers. They had nowhere to turn. Their families would be killed; their possessions would be taken. Checkmate, right?

The King had another move. God says to Moses, "Why are you crying out to me? Tell the people to get moving! Pick up your staff and raise your hand over the sea. Divide the water so the Israelites can walk through the middle of the sea on dry ground" (Exod 14:15-16). We know the rest of the story. The Israelites get to the other side; the Egyptians drown when God closes the water alley.

In 1 Samuel 17, the Israelites and their leader, Saul, were terrified. The nine-foot-tall Philistine giant, Goliath, was taunting them and making fun of their God. The Israelites were in checkmate.

But the King had one more move. An insignificant little boy too small to fit into Saul's armor knocked off Goliath and delivered the Israelites. David, who knew a thing or two about being in checkmate, shows his deep faith when he says, "The Lord who rescued me from the claws of the lion and the bear with will rescue me from this Philistine!" (1 Sam 17:37).

In Daniel 6:1-28, King Darius threw Daniel into a lions' den because Daniel ignored the new law to pray to King Darius and instead prayed to God. In imagery reminiscent of the tomb of Jesus, a stone was rolled over the mouth of the lions' den and Daniel was left to be torn apart. You can't get much more "checkmate" than that situation!

But the King had another move. He sends an angel to close the lions' mouths. When King Darius finds Daniel safe, he says: "I decree that everyone throughout my kingdom should tremble with fear before the God of Daniel. For he is the living God and he will endure forever. His kingdom will never be destroyed, and his rule will never end"(Dan 7:26).

Perhaps you feel like you are in checkmate in your life. You are in debt. You've lost your job. Your marriage is in trouble. Someone you love is dying. You have an addiction that is eating you with shame.

Whatever your situation, you have to remember that God always has another move in your life. He can get you out of whatever you're in. He raised his own Son from death! Pray to Him. His love for you is unconditional, and he never turns his back on you. You have another move.

Even if your pain keeps you from finding the words to pray, the Holy Spirit will pray for you. Paul says in Romans 8:26: "And the Holy Spirit helps us in our weakness. For example, we don't know what God wants us to pray for. But the Holy Spirit prays for us with groanings that cannot be expressed in words."
When it seems as if you can't move to the next square on the calendar, remember, the King always has another move.

Heroes

"Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need."
- Matthew 6:33

In a column, reporter Bob Greene once opened on "How to Become a Hero." He described a Texas gem dealer who went to a mineral show in Arizona. There he met a man who wandered creek beds, looking for interesting stones. This man was displaying some of his finds in plastic containers.

Among the smaller stones the dealer saw a large rock, and that's all the displayer thought it was-a big rock. But this gem dealer knew otherwise. He recognized it as the biggest star sapphire he had ever seen.

Knowing that the owner had no idea of the true worth of the stone, the gem dealer bargained with him and paid $10 for the rock. Later he reported that it was worth $2.5 million.

And, noted Greene, this gem dealer has become a sort of folk hero because he found something of value and purchased it at the lowest possible price, without hinting to the original owner what was going on. Greene went on to say, "This is just a particularly dramatic example of the way so many people are getting rich these days. They don't do anything of importance or value; they just manipulate and sidestep and feint and parry. They make people think they are going to do one thing, and then they do another. The lesson seems to be that only suckers believe in putting in a day's work for a day's pay. The smart boys are the tricksters."

Unfortunately, Bob Greene is right. People's lives today seem consumed with lotteries, long shots, and insider trading...and a continuing saga of greed, bribery, extortion, and embezzlement.

As Christians, however, we shouldn't be too surprised. Jesus said that his values are the opposite of the world's and that people who follow him will be misunderstood. True followers of Christ won't fit into society.

The Bible says that who we are on the inside is infinitely more important than our outward appearance, the way we achieve our goals is as important as the goals themselves, and that seeking Christ and his kingdom is more important than being the richest person on earth. Greene concludes his column with these thoughts: "Let's imagine that the gem dealer sees the star sapphire and instead of purchasing it for $10, he tells the man of its real worth and urges him to get some advice about what a fair asking price is before selling it. I know, I know; that's not the way the world works. Maybe, though, he could have at least cut the poor rock-hunter in on his profits. But then he wouldn't have been a hero for these days, would he?"

And what do you benefit if you gain the whole world but lose your own soul?

Don't worry about making it in today's world. Focus your attention on being a "hero" where it counts in God's eyes.

Wait on the Lord

E-Man

I get these e-mails from my church, and sometimes they have messages that are really good. So, I'll be sharing these with you as often as I get them or, since I have a lot of them, as often as I feel like it.

This one I'm about to post was forwarded from my Tia, and it's a message by Joel Osteen. Me personally never really liked the guy, but just cause I don't like him doesn't mean his message is any less awesome. Plus it was helpful too!

Today's Scripture
"But those who wait on the Lord, shall renew their strength, they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint." (Isaiah 40:31)

Today's Word
Do you need strength today?
Sometimes it’s easy to get down and discouraged when you’re constantly looking at the circumstances of life.
You may feel tired and weary from a long battle.
But when you wait on the Lord, the Bible says your strength will be renewed.
Waiting on the Lord means you’re putting your trust and hope in Him.
You’re living with an attitude of faith and expectancy.
In the natural, if you are waiting for someone like a special dinner guest, you’re probably not just sitting around the house wondering what will happen.
No, you’re probably preparing for that special person by straightening the house and making sure everything is perfect for their arrival.
Most likely, you started weeks in advance making the menu and deciding what to wear! In the same way, when you are waiting on the Lord, it doesn’t mean you are just sitting around, it means you are preparing for Him.
Are you ready for God to move on your behalf?
Are you waiting on Him?
As you take a step of faith, He’ll meet you there.
He’ll renew your strength and lead you into victory in every area of your life!

A Prayer for Today
Father in heaven, thank You for Your promise to renew my strength. I choose to wait on You. I choose to trust You. I choose to prepare for You to move mightily in my life! In Jesus' Name, Amen.

E-Man

The Book of Matthew

6:25
The same God who created life in you
can be trusted
with the details of your life

6:26
Worrying about the future
hampers your efforts
for today

6:27
Worrying is more harmful
than helpful

6:28-30
God does not ignore those who
depend on him

6:31-32
Worry shows a lack of faith
in and understanding
of God

6:33
There are real challenges
God wants us to pursue,
and worrying keeps us
from them

6:34
Living one day at a time
keeps us from
being consumed with worry.

..... God does not guarantee an easy or safe life to those who serve him .....
